Spring Forward for Day Light Savings Time

Reminder to set your clock ahead for the begining of daylight savings time on March 12th. Your church family at MCC Illiana doesn't want you an hour late for church on Sunday so turn those clocks forward before you go to bed on Satuarday March 11th.



 

 

Holy Week 2023

 

Holy Week Services with MCC Illiana

Expereince the greatest week in human histroy with your church community at MCC Illiana. Our Holy Week expereince of worship begins on Palm Sunday, April 2nd as we process into our santuary with palms. Alexandra will be our preacher for this parade that recalls Jesus's triumpant entry into Jersusalem. On Wednesday  on Wednesday, February 22nd at 7pm for a special service of Ash Wednesday. As we prepare for this deeply spiritual time in our exploration of our Christian life we will gather to sing, pray and to receive the sign of the cross. Make this Lent a time to clear any the distractions of the world and to focus on your relationship with God and with one another. The service will also be live streamed on our facebook page. 

 

Race, Black History, and the LGBTQ Community 

NWI NOWSaturday, February 18th, 1pm

The Northwest Indiana Chapter of the National Organization of Women is hosting a community forum on race, black history and the LGBTQ community. The free and open discussion will be held at MCC IllianaThis is one in a series of events by NWI NOW exploring Umoja, or Unity, as the organization honors Black History Month and its work in creating a more inclusive future in Northwest IndianaYou're invited to a panel discussion exploring race and the LGBTQ community on Saturday, February 18th starting at 1pm at MCC Illiana.

 

Thursday Night Zoom Virtual Bible Study, 7pm 

Our Small Group Bible Study gathers on Thursday nights for a time of fellowship and scriptures. Rev. Michael leads the hour together from the comfort of your computer with this online ZOOM connection.
