Out Loud

Out! Loud! Open Mic Night – Friday, May 26th, 6:30pm

 

MCC Illiana will be hosting an Open Mic Night this Friday, May 26th starting at 6:30pm. Out! Loud! is a place for spoken word, music or dramatic art. Come and share your poetry, music or stories in a LGBTQQA-safe and affirming environment. Admission is a $5 suggested donation and includes a dinner. This is an alcohol-free event. Some pieces may have adult themed content and may not be appropriate for children, parental discretion is advised.

Thursday Night Zoom Virtual Bible Study, 7pm 

Our Small Group Bible Study gathers on Thursday nights for a time of fellowship and scriptures. Rev. Michael leads the hour together from the comfort of your computer with this online ZOOM connection.

Monthly Potluck – Sunday, May 28th at noon

PotluckOur next end of the month potluck lunch will be this Sunday, May 28th following our Sunday morning worship. You are invited to bring a dish to share for our hospitality time as we gather around the table for fellowship as a community of faith.

 

 

Pride Picnic 2023

Pride Picnic - Saturday, June 24th 11am-3pm

MCC Illiana will be hosting our annual community Pride picnic on Saturday, June 24th from 11am to 3pm on the back lawn of the church. Join our church family for a time of fun, fellowship and some great food. We will be grilling hamburgers and hotdogs, you invited to bring a side dish to share.  Vegan options will be available. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held inside the church. Invite all your friends to join us for Pride.  

 

Michigan City PrideMCC Illiana will also be hosting a booth at the Michigan City Pride festival on Saturday, June 17, 2023. We will be needing volunteers to help us staff our booth and share information about our church. Michigan City Pride festival is from 1pm to 8pm on June 17th at the Guy Foreman Amphitheater in Washington Park. The event is free but parking is $15 at the gate to Washington Park. Join MCC Illiana at Michigan City Pride this year!
