Family Game Night and Dinner

Friday, August 18th, 6:30pm

Join us for an evening of games and food at our Gayme Night coming up on Friday, August 18th starting at 6:30pm. There are games at the church and you are invited to bring your favorite game. This is a family-friendly event with board games, card games and a lot of fun. There will be a simple meal provided, $5 suggested donation for the food.

‍Aliveness Project
Book bag Drive

This week 30 new book bags full of paper, notebooks, pencils and other grade-specific items started school on the shoulders of a child of the Aliveness Project. Once again MCC Illiana geared up children across the region for a successful 2023-2024 school year. Thanks to all those who added a child to their shopping list and ventured into the back-to-school sales. The book bags were blessed at our service on Sunday and on Sunday afternoon they were off to the social workers to be given to the children. The Aliveness Project serves family in Northwest Indiana dealing with HIV/AIDS.

Thursday Night Zoom Virtual Bible Study, 7pm 

Our Small Group Bible Study gathers on Thursday nights for a time of fellowship and scriptures. Rev. Michael leads the hour together from the comfort of your computer with this online ZOOM connection.

Monthly Potluck – Sunday, August 27th at noon

Our next end of the month potluck lunch will be this Sunday, August 30th following our Sunday morning worship. You are invited to bring a dish to share for our hospitality time as we gather around the table for fellowship as a community of faith.
