Out Loud

Out! Loud! Open Mic Night - Scary-okee!
This Friday, October 27th, 6:30pm

Our next Out! Loud! Open Mic night will be a Halloween Theme Scary-okee on Friday, October 27st starting with a dinner at 6:30pm. Then you are invited to share your own spoke word, poetry, music or karaoke open mic, where you make our entrainment. Come and share your poetry, music or stories in a LGBTQQA-safe and affirming environment. Some pieces may have adult themed content that might not be suitable for children. The dinner will be sweet and sour chicken and there will be a vegan version. 

Thursday Night Zoom Virtual Bible Study, 7pm 

Our Small Group Bible Study gathers on Thursday nights for a time of fellowship and scriptures. Rev. Michael leads the hour together from the comfort of your computer with this online ZOOM connection.

Monthly Potluck – Sunday, October 29th at noon

PotluckOur next end of the month potluck lunch will be Sunday, October 29th following our Sunday morning worship. You are invited to bring a dish to share for our hospitality time as we gather around the table for fellowship as a community of faith.

 

MCC Illiana Annual Congregational Meeting

Sunday, November 19th, 1pm

The 2023 Annual Meeting of the Congregation of Metropolitan Community Church Illiana will be held on Sunday, November 19th at 1pm following our annual Thanksgiving Potluck. At the meeting, the members of MCC Illiana will be voting on the 2024 Budget. There will also be elections held for two (2) Board Member positions (2 year terms). Nominations forms are available on the back table at the church. This is an exciting time for our church community and we hope that you can join us for this yearly business gathering.
