Spring Cleaning – Saturday, March 16th, 9am

Spring CleaningSpring is almost here and its time to spruce up our church building andgrounds. Join us three days before spring arrives to get our church ready for Easter. Our cleaning day is this Saturday, March 16th starting at 9am for some indoor cleaning and outdoor upkeep. We will pause around noon for a communal lunch.

Holy Week is an important time in the worshiping life of our church. From Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday, MCC Illiana will be hosting a several special services. You are invited to join us for these events. All services will be live streamed on Facebook.


Palm SundayPalm Sunday

March 24th, 10:30am

Celebrate Jesus triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Join in the crowd waving palms and singing Hosanna's as Jesus moves forward to transform the world with God's love. Our Palm Sunday service opens our Holy Week with a parade that leads us on a new journey towards a new and radical holiness in Jesus Christ.


CommunionWednesday Service of Holy Communion

March 27th, 6:30pm

As Jesus gathered with the disciples the day before Jesus death to share a meal, wetake a moment to remember the importance of that last supper. By preparing our bodies and hearts, enter with us into a holy meal of sharing and sustaining.


Good FridayGood Friday Service of Prayer

March 29th, 7:00pm

Processing the violence that comes into our world takes deep reflection. Through song and prayer we deep reflection in order to begin the ministry of engaging the violence in ourselves and our larger community. On Good Friday we will spend our time at the foot of the cross as we seek to live in the will of God.


easterEaster Sunday Service

March 31st, 10:30am

Celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ with the words that Christ has Risen! Discover with us that God's love cannot be held back by death or a tomb but is still out among us. Experience the miracle of Easter morning as the new promise of Christian community and ministry within our world.

Thursday Night Zoom Virtual Bible Study, 7pm 

Our Small Group Bible Study gathers on Thursday nights for a time of fellowship and scriptures. Rev. Michael leads the hour together from the comfort of your computer with this online ZOOM connection.
